The pub has collaborated with Ben Crittenden of Stark, Broadstairs, the Good
Food Guide’s chef to watch 2017, and his brother Luke, former head chef at
London’s Polpetto, to open Arya, a restaurant, based in the beautifully
refurbished space on the first floor.
In a cool, laid back, environment, sister Jess serves small plates (and a few
larger ones) of modern European food, designed for sharing, created by the
talented brothers, with Luke in the kitchen, while The Ravensgate Arms
serves from a list of wines and beers, that match the food.
If you’re after some light bites to go with your beer downstairs in the bar, we
have a small but beautifully formed menu of Arya bar snacks.
